Ad layout for Toyota Scion of Bedford. This layout was designed for Toyota Scion while freelancing for the Free Times. The ad was designed from scratch, with the photos and text supplied. There is a large auto presence in the Free Times advertising, and the ad reps like to keep the layouts fresh. Bedford Scion approved this ad on first draft.

Ad layouts for the Free Times (and any other weekly or daily publication) need to be completed within tight deadlines. Ninety percent of all ads seen in the Free Times are developed and designed in-house by the designers in the production department. Most ads require slight event changes from week to week, while others, such as the auto dealer ads, are constantly updated at the request of the client. Adverstisers are catered to immensely, as their advertising money keeps this free weekly magazine in print.
